Today is my first day working at my own company. I realize that getting the name of the company out there is going to be an uphill battle. Branding is an important step for a new company. Having a great brand or business name is important  because its often the first thing people see and read about you. Having a story about why you picked your company name and where it came from can be just as important as the name itself. I’ve been asked a couple times what the LooseKeys name means and where it came from. Maeve Price came up with the name awhile back when we were first brainstorming names for the business. The name comes from my last name Chmielewski; “lews-ki”. Maeve and I are the core of the business and will both soon be Chmielewski’s. The name shows that we are a family and a solid team working together to reach the same goal. A second meaning for the name came to us later. The videos we create are animated and require the use of key frames within the animation software. LooseKeys also fits with the idea that we use “wild” or “creative” key frames in every video.  Either way, LooseKeys is a name that I believe is easy to find and remember and also fun to say. The name is where it starts and an excellent product or service is where it should end.
