Create Release Repeat

We seem to live in a time where you always need to be doing something great, sharing an amazing photo or creating top notch work. But the pressure of needing to always create new and interesting content can be stressful. If you are creating that rapidly is anyone going to remember the work you created last week or even yesterday? Instead of being worried about how we are being judged today you need to step back and remember that it’s not a sprint, it’s a race. At the finish line you’ll be judged on the entirety of your work and not that app you launched today or the video you produced last week. I’m not saying you shouldn’t hustle but just take a breath and find the right balance for yourself or the day to day stress will break you. Steve Jobs or Bill Gates will be judged on what they did over twenty or thirty years, over their entire careers and not on just what they released last year. It takes hard work to solve problems and to innovate, it’s great to try and constantly deliver but to create something that’s memorable takes time. Push yourself everyday but there’s no need to shove.
